Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup broken pieces thin spaghetti or angel hair pasta
- 1 cup rice
- 1/2 teaspoon saffron
- 3 cups chicken stock
- Salt and pepper
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. First melt 3 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat. Saute the pasta and rice in the hot butter for about 3 minutes to toast. Add saffron.
2. Pour in 2 cups of chicken stock. When the mixture boils, cover the skillet and reduce heat to low. Simmer for 15 minutes, then sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste and break up any clumps of grain.
