Rye bread sandwiches with cheese and tomato recipe details
Ingredients
24 slice(s) | rye bread |
2 tbsp | butter |
1 tsp | dried dill |
120 g | Gouda cheese, sliced |
4 | plum tomatoes |
1 tbsp | Dijon mustard |
Instructions
Brush 1 side of each bread slice with butter.Place 12 bread slices, buttered side down, on an ungreased cookie sheet. Spread with mustard and sprinkle with dill weed.
Top with cheese, tomato and remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
Broil for 1-3 minutes on each side.
To serve, cut each sandwich in half diagonally.
