The island take on the classic brandy sidecar.

Ingredients

Serves: 1

• Ice
• 2 ounces rum, light or golden
• 1 ounce Cointreau
• 3/4 ounce lemon juice
• Superfine sugar, for rimming the glass

Preparation method

Prep: 5 mins

1. Chill a martini glass in the freezer. Add ice to a cocktail shaker. Pour in rum, Cointreau and lemon juice. Add sugar, and shake. Strain into chilled glass. (Rim the glass with sugar if you like.)
