Rum caramel corn recipe details
This microwave popcorn is covered in a rum caramel sauce, by the way, its delicious!!! Oh, yeah – simple also! if you want you can flambe the sauce, note: if you are not comfortable with this, do not do it.

Ingredients
Serves: 3- 1 bag microwave kettle corn(you can use whatever kind you would like)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup rum
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 10 mins | Extra time: 5 mins, cooling1. Pop your popcorn in the microwave as directed. Leave popcorn in microwave until the caramel sauce is done.
2. Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Once melted add brown sugar. Once combined add rum. Continue heating till it reaches a soft ball or fudge stage (234-240 degrees F).
3. Put popcorn in a large bowl and pour 1/4 of caramel mixture over popcorn and mix continue this process until the caramel mixture is gone. Let cool to where you don’t burn yourself and enjoy!!
