Romano beans with onion and pepper recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | romano beans |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
1 | green pepper, seeded, chopped |
1 | carrot, peeled, chopped |
1 | tomato, chopped |
1 | lemon, juiced |
1 tsp | cumin |
120 ml | olive oil |
240 ml | water |
Instructions
Sauté onion and pepper with olive oil in a pot over low-medium heat until soft. Add tomato, beans and water. Stir well. Bring to a boil and cook until beans are tender, about 20 minutes.Then add potato, carrot, cumin and lemon juice. Stir it again and put the lid on the pot. Cook until vegetables get tender, about 15 minutes.
Serve hot or cold.
