Rice stuffing for chicken recipe details
Ingredients
2 | Chinese sausages, sliced |
80 g | dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked in water |
1 tbsp | ginger, chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 tbsp | canola oil |
5 tbsp | soy sauce |
400 g | rice |
500 ml | chicken broth |
Instructions
Soak the sticky rice and the dry shiitake in water ahead of time. Reserve some of the mushroom soaking liquid to cook the rice.In a large pan, add canola oil and stir-fry the Chinese sausage slices together with the shiitake mushroom slices. Add the chopped garlic and ginger and keep stirring until fragrant.
Add the drained sticky rice to the mixture and add soy sauce. Add the chicken broth and 120 ml of the reserved mushroom liquid. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Cover and cook until the liquid is absorbed.
Leave to cool until ready to use.
