Redcurrant sauce for roast turkey or chicken recipe details
Ingredients
1 small | onion, chopped |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
grated orange zest | |
juice of 1 orange | |
600 ml | chicken broth |
2 tbsp | flour |
4 tbsp | port |
2 tbsp | redcurrant jelly |
Instructions
Seauté the onion until softened. Add the zest and juice of the orange and stir in the flour. Cook for 30 seconds, stirring continuously. Stir in the stock and continue to stir until the sauce thickens. Pour in the port and redcurrant jelly. Keep stirring until well combined and thickened.Preparation time:
