Raisin spice coffee cake recipe details
- Ingredients
- 1 package pound cake mix
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup apple juice
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 teaspoon flour
- Raisin Sauce:
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup vanilla dessert mix
- 2 Tablespoons butterscotch dessert mix
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon caramel and rum extracts

Grease tube/bundt pan. In a large bowl, combine and blend cake mix and next 8 ingredients. Then beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Toss raisins and nuts in flour. Fold in to batter; pour batter into pan. Bake at 325 degrees 60 to 65 minutes. Cool upright 25 minutes, then invert onto plate. Cool completely.
Sauce:Blend water, vanilla dessert mix, butterscotch dessert mix, and sugar in saucepan on medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients. Served warm over cake.
