Quick pork and chicken stew recipe details
Ingredients
60 g | rice |
salt and pepper | |
80 g | pork, cut in 2cm cubes |
80 g | chicken breast, cut in 2cm cubes |
1 tbsp | oil |
2 tbsp | onion, chopped |
1 tbsp | flour |
300 ml | vegetable stock |
1 tbsp | tomato puree |
80 g | tomatoes, diced |
1 tbsp | milk |
1 tbsp | sour cream |
½ tsp | paprika powder |
½ tsp | oregano |
1 tsp | basil, chopped |
1 tsp | parsley, chopped |
Instructions
Cook the rice in salted water until done.Stir-fry the pork and chicken in hot oil until golden. Add the onion and cook for another minute.
Sprinkle with the flour and stir well. Pour in the stock and stir in the tomato purée and the diced tomato, oregano, basil and parsley. Bring to a boil. Add more stock, if necessary. Reduce the heat and cook for 5 minutes. Mix together the milk and the sour cream and stir into the ragout. Season to taste with paprika powder, salt and pepper.
Serve with the rice.
