Serves: 4
  • 1/3 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced

Preparation method

Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 5 mins | Extra time: 30 mins, soaking

1. Stir 1/3 cup vinegar and 1/4 teaspoon salt together in a bowl.
2. Cover onions with water in a small saucepan and set over high heat. When water boils, pour off the water and place onions in the bowl with the vinegar.
3. Let stand for 30 minutes, then serve.
