Pickled mozzarella recipe details
Ingredients
| 40 small | mozzarella balls or 300g mozzarella, cubed |
| 3 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
| 1 | lemon, grated zest |
| ½ bunch(es) | thyme, chopped leaves |
| 1 sprig(s) | rosemary, chopped needles |
| 3 tbsp | red wine vinegar |
| 250 ml | oil |
| salt and pepper |
Instructions
Mix thoroughly the garlic with lemon zest, thyme, rosemary, vinegar and oil and season to taste with salt and pepper. Fill the Mozzarella together with the marinade into sterilized jars up to the rim and seal the jars. Turn the jars occasionally and allow to steep for 1 day.Serve the pickled Mozzarella with cherry tomatoes and fresh white bread.
