Quick and easy rice pilaf recipe details
An great idea for cleaning out the pantry. Grab some spaghetti, rice and chicken broth and you’re on your way to a simple side dish that cooks up in less than 30 minutes. You can probably make this while you’re working on the main course.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup broken pieces thin spaghetti
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups chicken stock
- Salt and pepper
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Place 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan and place over medium heat. When butter has melted, stir in the pasta. Cook until pasta is golden brown, about 3 minutes, then add the rice and 2 cups of chicken stock.
2. Bring the chicken stock to boil. Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes, then remove from heat and stir with a fork.
