Prawns with feta cheese recipe details
Ingredients
24 large | prawns, shelled and deveined |
1 small | onion, finely chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
4 tbsp | sunflower oil |
4 | tomatoes, skinned and chopped |
100 ml | white wine, dry |
1 tbsp | origanum, chopped |
2 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
100 g | Feta cheese |
salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste |
Instructions
Fry onion and garlic in sunflower oil until lightly browned.Add tomato, wine, origanum and half the parsley and season with salt and pepper. Cook briskly uncovered until the mixture thickens.
Add the prawns and cook for 2 minutes, by which time they will be firm, pink and just cooked.
Stir in the cheese and garnish with the remaining parsley.
Serve with rice.
