Praline apple bread recipe details
- Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/4 cup apple, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat sugar, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla until combined. Beat for two minutes. Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add to sour cream mixture and beat until combined. Stir in chopped apple and 1/2 cup pecans. Turn into greased loaf pan. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
Combine butter and brown sugar in saucepan. Stir until mixture boils. Reduce heat and boil for 1 minute. Drizzle sauce on bread and top with remaining chopped pecans. Serve warm with a tall glass of milk.
