Ingredients
1 kg | potatoes, peeled and sliced |
salt and pepper | |
2 cup(s) | water, warm |
freshly ground nutmeg | |
1 cup(s) | single cream |
some | butter flakes |
1 | onion, chopped |
2 clove(s) | garlic, mashed |
1 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200° C.Arrange the potato slices in a buttered casserole dish. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Sprinkle with garlic and onions. Pour over the water and top with butter flakes.
Bake for 20-30 minutes. Pour over the single cream. Continue to bake until the potatoes are done and almost browned and most of the liquid is soaked up.
Serve sprinkled with parsley.
