Pork stew with banana recipe details
Ingredients
4 large | onions, chopped |
500 g | pork neck, cut into 2cm cubes |
1 large can(s) | tomatoes |
4 | firm bananas, sliced |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | curry |
salt and pepper | |
olive oil |
Instructions
In a large saucepan, sear the pork until slightly browned. Add the onions and garlic and cook stirring for a few minutes. Season with salt, pepper and curry powder. Add the tomatoes and bring to a boil. Cover with a lid and cook over low heat for ¾ of an hour.Add the bananas and cook for another 10 minutes. Check seasoning and adjust if necessary.
Serve with fresh French bread.
