Pork cutlets with mustard sauce recipe details
Ingredients
2 tbsp | butter |
2 tbsp | flour |
250 ml | vegetable stock |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
800 g | pork cutlets |
nutmeg | |
2 tbsp | oil |
2 tbsp | Dijon mustard |
250 ml | milk |
Instructions
In a saucepan, melt the butter. Add the flour and cook stirring until smooth. Pour in the stock and the milk. Bring to a boil, whisking constantly with a wire whisk. Reduce the heat, stir in the mustard and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste with mustard, salt, pepper and nutmeg.In a pan, heat the oil. Season the cutlets with salt and pepper and dust the meat with flour. Fry the cutlets until golden brown on both sides and just cooked through.
Transfer the cutlets into the sauce and allow to soak for 3-5 minutes.
Serve together with boiled potatoes.
