Poppy mousse recipe details
Ingredients
150 g | white chocolate |
3 sheet(s) | gelatin |
250 g | ground poppy seeds |
400 g | single cream |
4 medium | eggs |
Instructions
Melt the chocolate over a water bath. Soak the gelatin in cold water.Whisk two eggs and 2 egg whites over the hot water bath until frothy. Squeeze out the gelatin and dissolve in the egg froth. Whisk in the melted chocolate and the poppy seeds. Whisk the cream with the remaining two egg whites until stiff and fold this into the cooled poppy mixture.
Spoon the mousse into dessert bowls and refrigerate for at least three hours.
Serve with compote of your choice.
