Pomelo orange jam recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | pomelo |
juice of 1 orange | |
juice of 1 lemon | |
600 g | sugar |
1 small | piece of ginger |
Instructions
Peel the pomelo and take out the fruit pieces. Be careful not to add any parts of the skin, as it will make the jam very bitter. Cut the skin off the orange and chop into small pieces. Chop the ginger into very small pieces.Put the fruits and the ginger into a big pot and add the sugar and the lemon juice. Bring to a boil and cook for 40 minutes, until jam starts to thicken.
Poor into 4 clean glasses and close carefully.
