- Dash of salt
- 1-1/2 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1-1/2 cups milk
- 6 eggs
Cut one cube of butter into 6 patties and place one each in a round, 1- inch high non-stick cake pan. Need one tin per person. The pancakes will crawl up the side of the pan and make their own bowl. Serve each on a large plate.
Put tins with butter in the hot 400-degree oven for 30 seconds to melt.
Use electric mixer to mix flour, dash of salt, nutmeg, milk, and eggs.
Preset table with all bowls of fruits and goodies to put inside each pancake. When placed on guest’s plate from the round pan, it will stand up, waiting to be filled with fresh fruits by guests, with their choice of nuts, coconut, maple syrup, or guava-butter. Guava butter is spread on the bottom of the pancake before adding chopped nuts, papaya, banana, pineapple, strawberries, and tropical fruits of the season. See our Guava Butter recipe.
