Plum sauce with guinness recipe details
Ingredients
5 | prunes, soaked in Guinness for 1 hour, cut in slices |
4 tbsp | plum butter |
5 tbsp | Guinness or stout |
1 tsp | vinegar |
100 ml | beef stock |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Mix plum butter with Guinness and stock in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Season to taste with vinegar, salt and pepper. Add the prunes and simmer for 1-2 minutes.Great with duck.
