Ingredients
1 pack(s) | pizza dough, ready to use |
For the sauce: | |
3 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
3 tsp | oil |
1 tbsp | tomato puree |
1 large can(s) | tomatoes, chopped |
sugar, salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
oregano and basil | |
rosemary and thyme | |
chili powder | |
For the topping: | |
2 | bell peppers, red and green, sliced |
1 | red onion, sliced |
6 | pickled chilies, sliced |
1 tbsp | oil |
200 g | salami, thinly sliced |
250 g | freshly grated Parmesan cheese |
Instructions
On a lined baking tray, roll our the pizza dough. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
In a saucepan, heat the oil. Sauté the garlic and the tomato purée. Pour in the canned tomatoes and cook for 8-10 minutes. Season to taste with sugar, salt, pepper, oregano, basil, thyme, rosemary and chili powder.
In a separate pan, heat the oil and sauté the bell peppers over medium heat for 2 minutes.
Evenly spread the tomato sauce onto the pizza dough. Top with the bell peppers, onions, chilies and salami and sprinkle with the cheese.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
