Ingredients
1 | onion, chopped |
1 large can(s) | tomatoes, diced |
300 g | sweetheart cabbage, sliced |
3 | spring onion, sliced |
2 | ripe tomatoes, diced |
100 g | freshly grated Cheddar cheese, grated |
1 packet(s) | pizza dough |
6 slice(s) | Parma ham |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
3 tbsp | oil |
salt and pepper | |
sugar |
Instructions
In a saucepan heat 1 tablespoon of the oil and sauté the onion and the garlic until lucent. Pour in the canned tomatoes. Cover, bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt, sugar and pepper. Allow to cool.In a pan heat the remaining oil. Sauté the white of the spring onions and the cabbage for 3-4 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Roll out the dough on a lined baking tray and spread with the tomato sauce. Divide the cabbage, spring onions, fresh tomatoes and the cheese o top. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the Pizza is golden and crispy at the edges.
Halve the ham slices. Cut the pizza into slices and top each with a slice of ham. Sprinkle with the green of the spring onions and serve.
