Ingredients
For the dough: | |
300 g | flour |
150 ml | warm water |
12 g | yeast |
1 tbsp | salt |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
For the topping: | |
6 tbsp | tomato puree |
1 small | onion |
6 slice(s) | Parma ham |
70 g | mild camembert |
1 small | red pepper |
some | capers |
some | salt, pepper, oregano and basil |
Instructions
To make the dough:Dissolve the yeast in water, add flour, salt and oil and knead for at least 10 minutes until a soft dough forms, you might need some more water if the dough does not bind properly. Then leave it in a warm place to rise for 30 minutes.
For the topping:
Fry onion with olive oil, add tomato puree (if you prefer tinned tomatoes use them instead), a bit of water and add seasoning. Cut pepper into small pieces and camembert into bigger chunks.
Roll out the dough (you should get 1 very large base or two smaller thin ones).
Spread on tomato sauce and top with capers, pieces of peppers, chunks of camembert and slices of Parma ham and bake in the oven for around 20-30 minutes at 200°C.
