Pita toast strips recipe details
Ingredients
6 | white pita breads |
6 tbsp | unsalted butter, softenend |
½ tsp | garlic, minced |
180 g | Parmesan cheese, grated |
2 tsp | fresh parsley leaves |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
¼ tsp | Creole Dressing, see database |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C.In a small bowl, cream the butter with a wooden spoon. Add the parsley, garlic, dressing and salt. Mix well.
Cut each pita bread horizontally in half.
Spread about 1.5 teaspoons of the mixture across each pita bread round. Then sprinkle evenly with 1 tablespoon of the cheese.
Place the bread rounds on a cutting board and cut each into 5 strips using a pizza wheel.
Transfer to a large baking sheet and bake until golden brown for about 8 to 10 minutes.
Serve warm as a snack or as accompaniments to soup or salad.
