Ingredients

1  green bell pepper, minced
1  red bell pepper, minced
2 tbsp mustard seeds
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 kg green cabbage, minced
1 tsp salt
120 ml apple cider vinegar

Instructions

Combine peppers, cabbage and salt in a bowl. Let stand overnight in the refrigerator.

Drain and discard the liquid from the vegetables and transfer them to a large glass jar.

Place mustard seeds, brown sugar, and vinegar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over the vegetables in the glass jar and stir well.

Leave to cool to room temperature and then refrigerate.
