Pears with raspberry sauce recipe details
Ingredients
4 | pears, peeled, cored, leaving stems intact |
300 g | raspberries, fresh or thawed |
500 ml | grape juice |
130 g | sugar |
2 tbsp | lemon juice |
whipped cream, for garnish |
Instructions
Place raspberries in a blender and process until pureed. Strain, reserving juice; set aside. Discard seeds.In a large saucepan, bring the grape juice, sugar and lemon juice to a boil. Add pears and reduce heat. Cover and simmer until tender, about for 5-7 minutes; drain.
To serve, spoon raspberry sauce on plate and top with a pear. Garnish with whipped cream.
