Ready in: 2 hours 10 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 packs ribs (2 pounds each approx)
- water
- 1 cup + 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cup “smoked” BBQ Sauce (Bull’s Eye(R))
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 2 hours1. First, you may cut your ribs into small pieces or cut them only in half. Then place your ribs into a big pot and cover ribs with hot water.
2. Now add 1 cup of brown sugar, garlic powder, black pepper and 1/2 cup of BBQ sauce into the water and mix well. Bring to a boil then lower on to medium heat and let boil gently for 1 Hour 45 minutes. Add water as needed to cover ribs as they boil.
3. Remove ribs from heat and drain water.
4. Now you have two options:
5. 1. If you have a BBQ, place on BBQ grill on low heat for about 15 mins, until the ribs are a bit crispy. Now take the rest of the BBQ sauce, and brown sugar and mix them together. Now baste your ribs with the sweetened sauce. Serve immediately.
6. 2. Your other option, If you do not have a BBQ, is to baste your ribs with the sweetened sauce and cook in the oven at 400F for 15 mins or so. Serve immediately.
7. *I advise the BBQ over the oven, but it’s your choice.
8. Result: Smoky but Sweet fall off the bone ribs! I promise!
