Pasta pan recipe details
Ingredients
350 g | pasta, penne or trennette |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
450 g | tomatoes, diced |
1 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
1 cube(s) | vegetable bouillon, crushed |
3 tbsp | parsely, chopped |
150 g | shredded cheese |
salt and pepper |
Instructions
Cook pasta al dente. Drain.In a large frying pan heat olive oil, add the pasta and cook until starting to turn golden. Make a well in the middle; add tomatoes, garlic and bouillon. Let simmer a little bit to dissolve the bouillon. Mix everything thoroughly, let simmer for 8 minutes.
Sprinkle parsley, salt and pepper on it, stir again. Add shredded cheese; fold over carefully until cheese is melted.
Serve with a leafy salad and some crusty white bread. Tastes great as left-over the next day.
Note:
You can take any shredded cheese which will melt nicely. I prefer mixed shredded cheeses like mozzarella/provolone, or Cheddar, Colby, Monterey Jack and Manchego Cheeses, etc.
