Pasta in cheese sauce with beef steak recipe details
Ingredients
1 | onion, chopped |
1 tbsp | oil |
1 tbsp | flour |
200 ml | vegetable stock |
100 ml | milk |
100 g | single cream |
200 g | Gorgonzola cheese |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
250 g | rump steak, cut into stripes |
2 | courgettes, sliced |
1 tbsp | oil |
400 g | pasta |
Instructions
In a saucepan, heat the oil. Sauté the onion. Dust with the flour and cook stirring for 1-2 minutes. Pour in the stock, milk and the cream and bring to a boil, stirring constantly with a wire whisk. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the cheese and cook stirring until melted. Season to taste with salt and pepper.In the meantime, cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.
In a pan, heat the oil and stir-fry the meat for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove from the pan. Stir-fry the courgettes for 2-3 minutes and season with salt and pepper.
In a warmed bowl, mix the drained pasta with the sauce, the meat and the courgettes and serve immediately.
