Ingredients

Serves: 8
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 2 cups shredded, peeled apples
  • 2 cups unseasoned, dried bread cubes
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon ground mustard
  • 2 pounds ground venison

Preparation method

Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 1 hour

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Whisk together the egg, ketchup, and horseradish in a mixing bowl. Toss with apples, stuffing cubes, and onion; sprinkle with mustard. Then lightly combine with venison. Do not overmix.
3. Form into a small loaf to fit your loaf pan, about 9×5 inches. Place in loaf pan and bake for 1 hour, until meatloaf has reached an internal temperature of 160 degrees F.
