Ingredients

Serves: 4
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 potatoes, peeled and cut into fries
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation method

Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 30 mins | Extra time: 1 hour, marinating

1. First, combine cornstarch, water, and soy sauce in a large plastic resealable bag. Add potatoes, seal bag, and shake to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Drain and dry on paper towels.
2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F and coat a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
3. Place potatoes on baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle salt over the fries.
4. Slide the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until fries soften and turn golden.
