Orange tea bread recipe details
A delicious sweet bread with a hint of orange. This goes well with coffee, tea, or just on its own.

Ingredients
Serves: 10- 3/4 cup self-raising flour
- 3 tablespoons margarine, plus extra for pan
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1/3 cup castor sugar
- Zest of 1 orange
- 2 tablespoons orange marmalade or jam
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 45 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Line the base of a small loaf pan with parchment paper and grease sides of the baking dish with margarine.
3. Beat together flour, margarine, egg, milk, and sugar. Add the orange rind and marmalade, then beat together.
4. Pour batter into baking dish and bake for 45 minutes, until golden brown and firm to the touch.
