Apple Crumb Pie recipe

- 4 large apples
- 1 unbaked pastry shell
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- scant 3/4 cup flour
- 1/3 cup oleo/margarine
This is our guests’ favorite “welcome upon your arrival” dish!
Peel and slice apples. Arrange in shell and sprinkle apples with 1/2 cup of the sugar and cinnamon. Sift remaining sugar with flour, then cut oleo/margarine into the mixture until it is crumbly. Sprinkle mixture over the apples. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes and then at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
