A very easy to prepare slow cooker recipe which works just as well simmering in a frypan. This is an old recipe that the kids have affectionately named because of the colour, not the flavour. It is delicious. Serve the chicken on a bed of mashed potato with the sauce poured over the top and your favorite vegies.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 8 skinless chicken legs
- 2 teaspoons mustard powder
- 4 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons vinegar
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- 2 chicken stock cubes
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 5 hours1. Place the chicken legs in the slow cooker.
2. In a container, mix together all the remaining ingredients with a whisk, and pour over the chicken legs. Set the cooker on Low for 5 hours.
3. Pour off the sauce into a saucepan and simmer for 5-7 minutes to reduce a little.
