Onion bahji recipe details
Ingredients
3 medium | onions, cut in thin slices |
350 g | chickpea flour |
1 tsp | chili powder |
½ tsp | cumin powder |
some | salt |
200 ml | water |
some | oil for frying |
Instructions
Mix the cut onion with the dry ingredients. Now slowly add the water, little by little at a time till the flour sticks to the onion. Add table spoon portions into the hot oil and fry till brown.This can be added to any meal or served as a starter or finger-food for a party.
It is gluten free and suitable for patients with Coeliac disease.
