The classic flavor of Old Bay seasoning on these simple oven-baked french fries.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 pound Russet potatoes
- 2 1/2 cups ice water
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay(R) seasoning
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 40 mins | Extra time: 20 mins, soaking1. Slice potatoes into 1/4-inch wide strips. Soak in ice water for 20 minutes, then drain and dry with paper towels.
2. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Set a baking sheet inside to warm up with the oven.
3. Drizzle potatoes with 1 1/2 tablespoons canola oil and pour onto the baking sheet. Roast for about 15 minutes to soften, then remove from oven and allow to cool for 1 hour. Transfer to a bowl.
4. Reheat oven to 450 degrees F. Return the baking sheet to the oven to warm. Toss potatoes with remaining olive oil.
5. Roast for 25 more minutes, until browned and crisp. Sprinkle with Old Bay, then serve.
