New Zealand Marinated Lamb Skewers recipe

|1 kg||loin of lamb, cut into bite-sized pieces|
|3 clove(s)||garlic, sliced|
|2 tbsp||lemon juice|
|2 tbsp||dry white wine|
|2||bell peppers, red and yellow, cut into bite-sized pieces|
|1 tbsp||basil leaves, chopped|
Mix together the oil, lemon juice, garlic and wine. Turn the meat in the mixture and marinate for 2-3 hours.
Cook the potatoes in salted water for 20 minutes. Drain, peel and allow to cool. Wrap the potatoes with the bacon.
Alternately spike bay leaves, marinated pieces of lamb, bacon wrapped potatoes and bell peppers onto the skewers. Grill for 10-12 minutes.
Serve sprinkled with basil.
