Mushroom sauce with sherry recipe details
Ingredients
115 g | mushrooms, trimmed, sliced |
2 tbsp | butter |
2 tbsp | flour |
240 ml | single cream |
1 tbsp | sherry |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Place mushrooms in a saucepan, add butter and sauté over low heat for about 10 minutes.Mix flour and milk together in a bowl and addto the saucepan with the mushrooms, stirring constantly.
Simmer for 10 minutes until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper and add sherry.
