Mushroom dip recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | mushrooms, sliced |
250 ml | crème fraîche |
1 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
lemon juice | |
Tabasco sauce | |
1 clove(s) | garlic, mashed |
1 small | onion, chopped |
1 tbsp | lard |
Instructions
In a saucepan, melt the lard. Add the garlic, onion and the mushrooms and stir-fry over medium heat for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.In a blender, combine the crème fraîche, mushrooms, onion, garlic and the developed cooking liquid and process until smooth. Transfer into a bowl and stir in the parsley. Season to taste with salt, pepper, lemon juice and Tabasco sauce.
Serve with bread, crackers or crudités.
