Mrkornbred's hotwings recipe details
Double battered hotwings…first fried with a flour batter, then baked with a spicy hotwing coating.
Ready in: 1 hour 15 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 6- 3 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons black pepper
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 packs McCormick(R) Buffalo Wing seasoning with bags
- 2 large packs chicken wings
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 1 hour1. Heat oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. You will need a large zip lock bag, put flour and spices (Except the McCormick’s seasonings) in zip lock bag. Add chicken wings to flour mixture and shake well.
3. Fry in the preheated fryer to golden brown. Let cool for about 10 minutes.
4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
5. Add McCormick’s seasoning mix to the bags that were provided with it. Add fried chicken wings to the McCormick’s seasoning, shake well. Place on baking tray.
6. Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 30 minutes.
