Mixed lettuce salad with baguette chips recipe details
Ingredients
1 clove(s) | garlic, chopped |
1 tsp | thyme, chopped |
6 tbsp | oil |
3 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
salt and pepper | |
100 g | rocket, cleaned and torn into bite-sized pieces |
100 g | red leaf lettuce, cleaned and torn into bite-sized pieces |
200 g | romaine lettuce, cleaned and torn into bite-sized pieces |
¼ | baguette, thinly sliced |
Instructions
In a pan heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Fry the bread slices with garlic and thyme until golden and crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.Add the remaining oil and the vinegar to the oil in the pan. Season to taste with salt, pepper and sugar.
In a bowl mix the lettuce with the bread chips. Serve immediately, drizzled with the dressing.
