Minced Beef and Fried Rice recipe

Ingredients
500 g | minced beef |
½ tsp | sugar |
1 tbsp | vegetable oil |
2 medium | eggs, beaten |
50 g | iceberg lettuce, shredded |
1 | green onion, chopped |
1 tsp | ginger, grated |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
400 g | rice, cooked |
Instructions
Combine soy sauce, sugar and salt and pepper in a small bowl. Mix and set aside.
Heat oil in a wok over medium heat and cook eggs for about 45 seconds, stirring constantly, until eggs are just set. Transfer eggs to a bowl and set aside.
Add beef and sauté for a few minutes. Add lettuce and onion and sauté about 3 minutes, stirring often to break up meat. Cook until slightly browned. Stir in ginger and garlic and cook 1 minute.
Remove excess fat, increase heat and add rice. Stir fry for about 1 minute, until heated through.
Pour in soy sauce mixture and eggs and stir fry for another 30 seconds.
