Mexican pineapple turnovers recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | all-purpose flour |
125 g | butter |
100 g | cream cheese |
200 g | canned pineapples, well drained, finely chopped |
150 g | sugar |
Instructions
Combine the flour, butter and cream cheese and knead until smooth and pliable. Roll out and cut out discs with a 10cm biscuit cutter. Place slightly less than a teaspoon of pineapples onto each disc. Fold over and firmly press the edges together.Bake on a cookie sheet at 180°C until light beige, for about 12 minutes.
After baking, roll in confectioner’s sugar.
