Meltinthemouth snowballs recipe details
Ingredients
450 g | butter, softened |
100 g | confectioners’ sugar |
1 medium | egg, yolk only |
1 ½ tbsp | vanilla |
400 g | flour |
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C.Combine the butter and sugar and beat until smooth. Add the egg yolk and vanilla and beat until just blended. Add the flour and beat until a soft dough forms.
Take small parts of the dough and roll into balls. Place balls 5 cm apart on a tray lined with parchment paper and bake until golden.
Fill a bowl with more sugar and toss warm cookies until they look snowy, then place on a rack to cool.
