Marinated leek recipe details
Ingredients
1 stalks | leek, ø 3cm, 200g after trimming |
For the Vinaigrette: | |
2 tbsp | white wine vinegar |
1 ½ tbsp | apple cider vinegar |
½ tsp | honey |
½ tsp | brown mustard seeds |
1 pinch(es) | turmeric |
60 ml | olive oil |
1 dash(es) | fesh lemon juice |
salt | |
freshly ground black pepper |
Instructions
Trim and wash the leek. Cut the white part into 1.5 cm slices. Simmer in little water for about 5 minutes and place the pieces in a shallow serving bowl.Meanwhile whisk the vinaigrette ingredients and pour over the warm leek.
Marinate for about 2 hours and serve as a starter with crusty fresh bread or as a side dish.
