Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 (14.5 ounce) cans Hunt’s(R) unseasoned stewed tomatoes
- 1 (6 ounce) can Hunt’s(R) non-seasoned tomato paste
- 2 1/2 teaspoons dried parsley
- 4 large garlic cloves, pressed
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- 6 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 cup finely chopped yellow onions
- 1 large cremini mushroom, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup vermouth
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 40 mins1. In blender place tomatoes, paste, parsley, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper and blend untill smooth.
2. In large sauce pan over medium heat, add olive oil, onions, and mushrooms and saute until onions are almost clear, then pour in your tomatoe sauce mixture and white wine.
3. Simmer about 30 minutes.
