Lemon yoghurt mousse with berries recipe details
Ingredients
450 g | yoghurt |
120 g | crème fraîche |
190 g | sugar |
2 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
6 tbsp | lemon juice |
6 tbsp | lemon liqueur |
6 envelope(s) | gelatin |
200 g | whipping cream |
3 medium | egg whites |
1 kg | mixed berries, bigger ones chopped |
3 tbsp | orange juice |
3 tbsp | sugar |
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together the yoghurt, crème fraîche, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon juice and liqueur. Add the dissolved gelatin and mix until well combined. Separately, whisk the egg white and cream until stiff. Fold the beaten egg white and the whipped cream into the yoghurt mixture. Pour the yoghurt mousse into a large glass bowl. Allow to cool for 6 hours or over night in the fridge.In a bowl, mix together the berries, sugar and orange juice and let steep for 30 minutes.
Serve the mousse with the berries.
