Lemon cream layer dessert recipe details
Ingredients
½ | lemon, juice and grated rind |
350 g | mascarpone |
80 g | ricotta |
150 g | whipping cream |
200 ml | egg liqueur |
140 g | lady’s fingers |
40 g | sugar |
Instructions
Mix together the mascarpone, ricotta, lemon juice, lemon zest and the sugar. Whip the cream until stiff, then fold the whipped cream in the mixture.In a flat casserole dish, arrange half of the lady’s fingers. Drizzle over half of the egg liqueur. Spread with half of the cream. Layer on top the remaining lady’s fingers, drizzle with egg liqueur cover with the remaining cream. Allow to soak for 6 hours before serving.
