Ingredients
400 g | boned shoulder of lamb, cut into 2cm cubes |
400 g | fresh green beans, halved |
2 sprig(s) | savory |
1 | onion, sliced |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 | red hot chilli pepper, finely chopped |
200 ml | stock, preferably lamb stock |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
Instructions
Cook the beans together with the savory in salted water for 8-10 minutes, then drain and rinse with ice water. Set aside and remove the savory.In a wide pan, heat the oil and stir-fry the meat over high heat until nicely browned. Add the onions and chilli and fry until the onions start to brown. Add garlic and stock and cook stirring for a minute. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the beans and cook stirring until the beans are hot again.
Serve with rice or boiled potatoes.
